WALLKILL, N.Y. – A Wallkill woman is facing possession charges after she was found slumped over the steering wheel of her car trying to ingest narcotics, according to Wallkill Police.
Police officer Joseph DeAngelis responded to the welfare check at the Citgo Gas Station on Friday, Aug. 18 just after 6:30 p.m. He found Annemarie Webb, 33, with 56 packets of heroin, 37 oxycodone pills and an undisclosed amount of crack. Webb as also attempting to ingest the narcotics, officials said.
Webb was taken to Orange Regional Medical Center to be treated for illness stemming from the drug ingestion. She was remanded to Orange County Jail on $15,000 cash or $100,000 bond, police said.
