Andrew Gusty, 28, New Windsor Resident

NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. – Andrew J. Gusty of New Windsor, a chef at Henry's at the farm in Milton and a longtime resident of the area, died on Oct. 9 in St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. He was 28.

The son of George Gusty Jr. and Laura Boyan, he was born on Dec. 7, 1988 in Middletown.

Andrew was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park.

Survivors include his grandfather George Gusty Jr. and his wife Rose of Delaware; his mother Laura Boyan of Palm Coast, Florida. His companion Kaitlyn Shumaker of New Windsor. His uncle Robert Gusty and his wife Alysa of North Carolina and his nephew Kyle and niece Emily.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown.
