Nearly two dozen impaired drivers were busted by state police in Orange and Rockland County over the weekend as law enforcement officials continue their crackdown on intoxicated drivers in the Hudson Valley.

Since the holiday season, New York State Police and local law enforcement agencies were “out in full force” to curtail impaired drivers in the region, busting hundreds who were operating their vehicles while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Among those arrested include:

Friday, Jan. 5:

  • Brandi Keffer, 37, of Bloomingburg was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol during a traffic stop in Mamakating;
  • Eugene Aton, 55, of Glenwood, N.J., was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol during a stop in Warwick;
  • Dustin Draffen, 23, of Elka Park, was charged with DWAI after being busted impaired by drugs on State Route 32A in Catskill.

Saturday, Jan. 6:

  • Oscar Soto, 47, of Garnerville was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Ramapo;
  • Lennie Walker-Molina, 47, of Nanuet, was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol on Route 59 in Nyack;
  • Nelson Sivers, 39, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol following a crash on Route 44 in Lloyd;
  • Peter Khanjian, 25, of Hawthorne, was charged with DWAI after being found impaired by drugs on Route 17 in Woodbury;
  • Troy Engler, 23, of South Cairo was charged with DWI after being found intoxicated driving in Cairo;
  • James Kisselburgh, 35, of Ravena, was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol on Route 9W in Catskill.

Sunday, Jan. 7:

  • Daniel Burger, 54, of Warwick, was charged with DWI after being found intoxicated during a stop in Warwick;
  • Christian Albrizio, 25, of New Windsor, was charged with DWI after being found driving while intoxicated during a stop on Route 207 in New Windsor;
  • David Sardo, 53, of Port Jervis, was charged with DWAI after being found impaired by drugs during a stop on Route 6 in Wawayanda;
  • Cindy Rojas, 30, of Monroe, was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol on Route 17M in Wawayanda;
  • Tyrone Jacobs, 47, of Catskill, was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol during a traffic stop on Route 9W in Catskill;
  • Misael Velasquez, 23, of Nyack, was charged with DWI after being found impaired by alcohol during a traffic stop on Route 202 in Haverstraw.

Each of the violators were charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Each has been released on their own recognizance and is due back in court later this year to answer the charges.
