Several Pine Bush Students Treated For Minor Injuries Following Bus Crash

PINE BUSH, N.Y. – Several Pine Bush students were treated for minor injuries after a school bus crashed into a guardrail on Route 302 on Thursday afternoon.

The crash occurred just after 2:30 p.m. near Thompson Ridge. The students on board were evaluated at the scene by EMS and the Pine Bush Volunteer Fire Department. The bus returned to Pine Bush High School where school district nurses evaluated by district nurses, Pine Bush officials said.

Three students were taken to Orange Regional Medical Center by ambulance for evaluation while two others were taken by their parents.

Seven other students rere-boarded the bus for their trip home. Several others were picked up by their parents, school officials said.
