Tveit, 33, sang the National Anthem prior to the Yankees 8-4 win over the Twins.

Tveit is best known for his roles as Gave in "Next to Normal" and as Frank Abagnale Jr. in the Broadway production of "Catch Me if You Can." He also starred as Danny Zuko in "Grease Live."

Tveit was born in Middletown and graduated from Middletown High in 2001. While there, he participated in theater and also competed on the golf, soccer and basketball teams.

The Yankees dropped their first game of the ALDS to the Indians 4-0 on Thursday night.

Maybe they should see if Tveit can make the trip out to Cleveland for tonight's game.
