ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. – The unofficial final weekend of summer should feature plenty of sunshine, but Orange County residents should expect at least one day to be a washout.

Expect sunny skies and more fall-like temperatures on Friday with high temperatures only reaching into the 60s. Bring a jacket if you head out this evening. Lows could break records as they are expected to dip into the 40s.

Saturday will begin sunny, but increasing clouds will move into the area later in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the mid-60s. Isolated showers could move through the area as well. Chance of rain is 20 percent.

Grab your umbrella if you plan on traveling Sunday. Showers are likely throughout the day with highs around 70 degrees.

Sun and slightly warmer temperatures will return for Labor Day. Expect highs around 78 degrees.
