This Young Middletown Dog Was Left For Dead

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — A 6-month-old dog who was hit by a car and left on the side of the road is ready for her forever home, Middletown's Grateful Doggies Freedom Transport said.

Marilyn Monroe was left in agonizing pain after being struck on a highway in Texas. She was brought to a Texas kill shelter where she received medical attention.

Since that horrible day, the puppy mutt has had surgery and is healing beautifully.
