A burglar who targeted a Spotsylvania school and church is behind bars after being busted with stolen items in his home, authorities announced James Edward Romick, Jr. 47, was arrested following an investigation into a pair of burglaries in the Spotsylvania Courthouse area that were reported in the last week, officials confirmed. A 19-year-old man from Northampton County has been charged with burglary, robbery and other offenses, authorities said. Damian Latrell Bass was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 5, according to Nazareth Borough police. He also was charged with assault, endangering another person and making terroristic threats, court records show. Authorities are warning residents to lock their cars after electronics and cash were stolen from several vehicles in multiple Hudson Valley neighborhoods. Police on Long Island announced plans to hold a property auction next week. The Suffolk County Police Department said the auction will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Property Section, located at 30 Yaphank Ave. in Yaphank. SCPD said the auction will begin at 9 a.m. and will include items such as jewelry, watches, tools, landscaping equipment, electronics, iPhones, and more. Police in Bucks County are seeking the public's help identifying a duo who they say stole $5,000 worth of electronics from a local Walmart.
