There are residual delays on a stretch of the Palisades Interstate Parkway on Tuesday morning following a serious multi-car crash that blocked the left lane for about an hour.
The southbound crash occurred near Exit 9 (I-87/I-287), with stopped traffic at the scene and stop-and-go delays to Exit 11 (New Hempstead Road) at 8 a.m., shortly before the lane reopened.
Nearby, there was stop-and-go traffic on eastbound Route 59 after a crash at Western Highway, with delays to Crossfield Avenue.
