Three Teens Charged In Fatal Greenburgh Shooting
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Three teens have been charged in connection with the shooting death Thursday in Greenburgh of 46-year-old town resident Joseph Smith III, said Greenburgh police.
Following an investigation into the shooting, detectives arrested Trevon Major, 16, of White Plains, with the shooting, said Lt. Kobie Powell.
Major was charged with manslaughter, criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence, all felonies, Powell said.

Stony Point Couple Arrested For Animal Cruelty After 10 Dead Dogs Found
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Stony Point husband and wife were formally arrested on Friday for animal cruelty after 10 dead dogs were found on their property on June 22, according to the Hudson Valley Humane Society.
Louis Jerome Adler, 75, and his wife, Dorothy Adler, 72, were charged with 44 counts of cruelty to animals, the Humane Society said.
The society, along with numerous law enforcement agencies, served a search warrant on the home at 13 Chestnut St., in Stony Point, in June after receiving numerous complaints of abuse, neglect and unsanitary conditions at the home, officials said. …
