Teens Charged After Posting Video Climbing New TZB
Three teens who filmed themselves trespassing on the new Tappan Zee Bridge and then posted it on YouTube have been charged with third-degree criminal trespass, according to New York State Police. State police received a report of the YouTube video featuring the three teens posing on the bridge on Saturday, Aug. 5, said Trooper Michael Cassella, a state police spokesman for Troop T. Cassella said the clip shows the teens videotaping themselves trespassing on the bridge during early morning hours in July 2017. Winning $1M Powerball Ticket Sold In Westchester
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The $1 million winner of Saturday's Powerball jackpot who bought the ticket in Westchester has not come forward, but that person won't remain anonymous for long, according to the New York Lottery. The $2 Powerball ticket sold at the Estrella Minimarket in Mount Vernon was the second $1 million winner sold since the "roll-up" of the game began on June 14, said Lottery Spokeswoman Carolyn Hapeman. Video: Garage Truck Crashes Into Pole, Igniting Fire In Monsey
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Ramapo police are on the scene of a crash involving a garbage truck on Forshay Road in Monsey on Monday morning. The truck, which lost control around 10 a.m. and hit a pole, brought down electrical wires causing a fire in the truck. The Monsey Fire Department is also on scene dousing the fire, officials said. Suffern Man Attacks Wife, Stabs Her Friend, Police Say
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Suffern man is behind bars Monday after attacking his wife and children and stabbing another woman during a domestic dispute on Sunday, according to Chief Clarke Osborn.Juan Monge-Jacome, 43, was arrested after Suffern police received a report around 2:30 a.m. Sunday of a violent domestic dispute taking place in an apartment on Lafayette Avenue which involved a possible stabbing, Osborn said.
