ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Rockland County radio fans have a new listening option online with the launch Wednesday of Hudson River Radio by two local radio men. Swastikas Found On Church In Hastings
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Several swastikas were recently found painted on a door of one of the buildings of the Grace Church campus in Hastings-On-Hudson, according to Police Chief Anthony M. Visalli. The village police department is investigating the incident that took place sometime between Friday, June 2 and Saturday, June 3, at the church located at 457 Broadway, Visalli said. Bicyclist Lying On Side Of Road May Have Been Struck In Poughquag
A local man reported to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office that he may have been hit by a car while riding his bicycle on Route 55 around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, said Lt. Michael Dampf. The man who found lying on the side of the road near Pine Grove Road, told officers he believed a car may have brushed him, causing him to fall, Dampf said. The unidentified man, who was not seriously injured, was taken as a precaution to a local hospital for evaluation. A large branch hanging over the roadway may have contributed to the accident, Dampf added.

Car Slams Into Pole, Bursts Into Flames In Arlington
A driver who slammed into a pole early Thursday morning managed to escaped injury as the car burst into flames on South Road, according to the Town of Poughkeepsie Police. The crash happened around 12:50 a.m. at the intersection of South Road and Sharon Drive, when the driver lost control and hit a telephone pole and some fencing before it burst into flames, said Capt. Kenneth Roman. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and did not suffer any serious injuries, he added.

Ousted Ramapo Supervisor Christoper St. Lawrence has filed a motion with the federal court in White Plains asking that his felony fraud convictions be thrown out for lack of sufficient evidence and judicial errors, said lohud.com. DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A pedestrian who was struck by a car on Innis Avenue around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday is in serious condition at Westchester Medical Center, according to the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department The accident occurred when a 36-year-old Poughkeepsie man was walking in or near the northbound lane and was struck by a 53-year-old Wingdale motorist near the south entrance to the Ridgefield Apartment complex, said Capt. A Wassaic man was charged Tuesday with predatory sexual assault against a child under the age of 13 following a report by a woman who said she had been assaulted as a child, according to the New York State Police. John W. Moran, 64, was charged after troopers were contacted by a former Wassaic woman who reported she was the victim of a sexual offense.
