Woman Injured As Car Overturns On Taconic State Parkway An 88-year-old woman was injured Friday around 11 a.m. when she lost control of her car on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess, according to the New York State Police. The unidentified woman, a resident of Chatham in Columbia County, was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, said Trooper Melissa McMorris of the NYPD. The woman  was traveling northbound just south of Beekman Road, when she exited the roadway, flipping the car and striking a rock embankment, McMorris said The accident is under investigation.
