The 20-year-old man who died in a targeted shooting that also wounded four teenagers in Westchester County has been identified by his family — and the young suspect accused of killing him now faces murder charges.
Brandon Garcia, 20, was the victim of a shooting in Yonkers at around 8:43 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2, in the area of Elm Street and Palisade Avenue, according to his loved ones.

Taconic Crackdown: Over 100 Commercial Drivers Ticketed For Using Parkway
Police said they issued over 150 tickets during a crackdown on the Taconic State Parkway, with the vast majority going to commercial drivers who were illegally using the parkway.
The enforcement detail was conducted on Monday, July 27, and Tuesday, July 28, along the Taconic State Parkway, New York State Police announced on Saturday, Aug. 1.
During the operation, troopers issued 158 traffic tickets, including 114 citations for violations of parkway regulations that prohibit commercial vehicles from operating on New York's parkway system, the agency said.
