More than $16,000 in money that had been lost or forgotten for years is back with an Orange County EMS agency, officials said.
The Town of Wallkill EMS received $16,035.32 in unclaimed funds, town officials announced on Thursday, Sept. 24. State Sen. James Skoufis said the funds had been "lost" and held by the state for safekeeping for years before being returned to the EMS organization.

The settlements cover people who purchased qualifying pork products for personal consumption from Saturday, June 28, 2014, through Saturday, June 30, 2018. The lawsuit claims several companies conspired to limit the supply of pork and increase prices.
