Overturned Tractor-Trailer Leaking Fuel On I-87 In West Nyack ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. --  Commuters might encounter backed-up traffic Wednesday on I-87 near Exit 12 in West Nyack due to an overturned tractor-trailer that is leaking fuel, according to the New York State Police. The vehicle overturned while exiting I-87 onto the exit ramp around 9:18 a.m., said Trooper Steven Nevel.  The interstate is open, but Exit 12 is closed as fire officials work to clean up the five gallons of fuel leaking onto the roadway, Nevel said.  Check back to Daily Voice for updates. First Would-Be Jumper From New TZB Taken Into Custody A man was saved from jumping off the side of the new Tappan Zee Bridge Tuesday afternoon after state police said they received numerous 911 calls from passing motorists. The unidentified man drove onto the bridge around 3:26 p.m. and was attempting to climb the fence to get to the span area, where he told troopers he was going to jump, said Trooper Sgt. Fire Breaks Out At John Jay Middle School A fire on the grounds of John Jay Middle School in Cross River late Monday afternoon caused minor damage to a grassy area outside the school but did not damage the building, according to Lewisboro Police.The fire was started in a grassy area near the edge of the school at 40 N.
