Domestic Dispute Leads To Sex Abuse Charge In Town Of Poughkeepsie DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Poughkeepsie man was charged with aggravated sexual abuse on Thursday after the Town of Poughkeepsie Police received a complaint of sexual abuse. According to Capt. Ken Roman with the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department the complaint was received by the department on Wednesday, July 12 for an event which took place during a domestic dispute on May 31. A follow-up investigation led to the arrest of Thomas Angell, 37.  Police declined to immediately provide further details surrounding Angell's arrest. Port Chester Teen Caught With Forged CT Driver's License Upstate PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- A Port Chester teen was caught Sunday with a fake driver's license after the vehicle he was riding in was stopped by Town of Lloyd Police in Ulster County. Rafael Reyes, 19, was charged after the driver of the car was arrested for having a suspended license. Officers then asked to see Reyes license and he showed them a Connecticut driver's license that was forged, said Lt. James Janso. He was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 17.

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -  A motorcycle driver received a leg injury during a crash around 9 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Route 199 and Kalina Drive, according to the New York State Police. The motorcyclist told state police that he was traveling westbound on Route 199 when he lost control of his motorcycle, said Trooper Melissa McMorris. The cycle went down and struck a guide rail. Car Goes Off Pound Ridge Road After Driver Falls Asleep, Police Say POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- A driver who fell asleep at the wheel ended up in the tree tops Saturday after his car veered off the road, according to Pound Ridge Police Chief David Ryan.Ryan said the driver, who was not injured, ended up in the trees about 50 yards off the roadway after falling asleep around 11:50 p.m. on Westchester Avenue. Spring Valley Man Dies After July 17 Hillcrest Shooting ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. --  The Rockland man who was shot July 17 while driving a taxi cab on West Eckerson Road in the Hillcrest section of Ramapo has died, according to the Ramapo Police. Rem Louis, 23, of Spring Valley, was shot around 3 p.m. while driving the cab with two passengers, said Det. Sgt. Brian Corbett.   Hakeem Gentles, 22, also of Spring Valley, was charged with second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault in connection with the shooting, said Corbett.
