Police: Poughkeepsie Pair Caught With 9 Bags Of Crack Cocaine In Red Hook DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - Two Poughkeepsie men were charged with possession of a controlled substance Sunday after Red Hook police busted them with nine bags of crack cocaine, Red Hook Police said. Dean F. Brown, 47, and Alexander Soto, 38, were nabbed after officers topped them around 9:35 pm on North Broadway, police said. During the stop, Brown was found to be driving on with a suspended license and was in possession of crack cocaine. Jamil Fields, 55, of the Bronx was charged with second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault for shooting 24-year-old Mouhamed Cisse, also of the Bronx, said New York State Police spokeswoman Melissa McMorris.
