Danbury Man Dies Of Injuries Suffered In I-84 Crash
DANBURY, Conn. -- A 65-year-old Danbury man has died of injuries that he suffered during a five-car crash Monday on I-84 in Southeast, N.Y., according to the New York State Police.
David Patton, 65, died Tuesday at Westchester Medical Center, where he had been airlifted after the crash, said Trooper Melissa McMorris.
The crash occurred at 12:42 p.m. after a Carmel woman, traveling west on I-84 failed to see the traffic in front of her slowing down and struck the rear of a Toyota Avalon, setting off a chain-reaction that ended with five vehicles, including an International Harvester crashing…

Trial Of Woman Accused Of Killing Fiancé In Hudson River Set For August
The case against a Poughkeepsie woman charged with murdering her fiancé during a kayaking trip in April 2015, will finally get underway on Tuesday, Aug. 15, following several delays and hearings.
Angelika Graswald, 37, pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in connection with the death of Vincent Viafore, 46, also of Poughkeepsie.
Her attorney, Richard Portale, said he intends to begin selecting a jury on Aug. 15 and the trial to begin by Aug. 21.
