Two Nabbed After Fleeing Following Theft At Route 9W 7-Eleven, Police Say
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two teens were caught by Stony Point police on Thursday after stealing beer from a 7-Eleven Store on Route 9W, and then running from the scene, according to Stony Point Police.
James Marino, 17, of Milford Pa., and another juvenile, were caught about 3:30 a.m., after store employees reported the theft, said Lt. Daniel Hylas.
Patrol officers attempted to stop the two on the James Farley Bridge, but both got away and continued running, Hylas said.

Military Vehicle Show Comes To Westchester
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Military buffs will want to check out the Historic and Military Vehicles Show in Somers on Saturday and Sunday where everything from trucks to ambulances will be featured.
The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, July 1 and 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, July 2, at Lasdon Park, Arboretum, and Veterans Memorial, in Somers, will also include memorabilia, entertainment, reenactors, refreshments, and a visit by a combat dog.

Off-Duty Police Officer Accused Of Assaulting Woman In Northern Westchester
An off-duty Yonkers police officer was arrested on Friday, June 23, after he allegedly broke a car windshield and put a woman in a chokehold after a night on the town in Pleasantville.
Trevor Goff, 27, of Yonkers, turned himself into Pleasantville police where he was charged with three misdemeanor charges for the events that took place on Friday, June 16, Pleasantville police Lt. Jesse Wollman said.
The first incident occurred 2:50 a.m. when police received a report of a man jumping on a windshield, shattering it, in front of the Thirsty Scholar Pub at 472 Bedford Road, said Wollman.
