Driver Hospitalized After Deer Slams Into Car On I-84 A motorist on I-84 was hospitalized after a deer went through the windshield of a car around 7:30 a.m. Friday in Hopewell Junction, according to the East Fishkill Fire District. The crash occurred in the eastbound lane near Lime Kiln Road, officials said. Two Nabbed After Fleeing Following Theft At Route 9W 7-Eleven, Police Say ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two teens were caught by Stony Point police on Thursday after stealing beer from a 7-Eleven Store on Route 9W, and then running from the scene, according to Stony Point Police. James Marino, 17, of Milford Pa., and another juvenile, were caught about 3:30 a.m., after store employees reported the theft, said Lt. Daniel Hylas. Patrol officers attempted to stop the two on the James Farley Bridge, but both got away and continued running, Hylas said.
