Firefighters Prevent Blaze From Spreading Through House In Bedford Quick work by Bedford firefighters saved a Millertown Road home Thursday after a grill fire on a deck outside began to spread, according to the Bedford Volunteer Fire Department.When firefighters arrived on scene at 95 Millertown Road they found a grill fire had spread to the house but was quickly knocked down by firefighters with most of the damage contained to the outside of the home.  The department was assisted by the Pound Ridge Volunteer, Bedford Hills, Banksville, and Mount Kisco fire departments, among others.
