Full-Day Kindergarten Comes To North Rockland After years of climbing out from underneath a heavy debt load, the North Rockland Central School District believes it has found a way to offer something parents have been clamoring for -- full day kindergarten. According to Superintendent Ileana Eckert, the district will offer three all-day classes under a one-year pilot program that will be funded with $350,000 Title 1 funding grants. The incident, which occurred at 1:33 p.m., is still under investigation and may be a suicide, said Sgt. William Conway, 24, was arrested after police responded to an incident around 3:30 a.m. at the Pour House at 102 Main St., according to Sgt. Kerri Lynne Schiller.
